North Korean Underground Railroad in China

South Korean missionaries and some Buddhist organizations are instrumental and the primary driving force in delivering North Korean refugee’s from China to South Korea.
Using safe houses located throughout China, they systematically ferry refugees from China, generally over the course of 3 years to South Korea through various third party countries like Thailand and Burma.

This particular location the missionary was using the aid of ethnic hill tribes in China to ferry refugees across the border in return for education of some of the tribes young and medical aid. While also running a farm collective growing hot peppers for local sale as well as evangelical pursuits under the radar.

The refugee’s in these images are all safely living in Seoul, South Korea having made the arduous trip, in this case through Burma.
