On assignment for National Geographic Korea
The people of Pakistan struggle to deal with the earthquake that shook their country and their lives. Many were left without children or mothers and fathers. Some lucky few were able to escape with their loved ones, often giving praise to Allah for that blessing.
I arrived to this devastation with the Korean Medical Association, young doctors, nurses and residents, many their first time traveling outside of South Korea. Their mission, to relieve some of the suffering and offer comfort and hope wrought by the earthquake.
